WP Scorpions B96 at the Top of the Table

WP Scorpions B96 sit in first place after 5 weeks of competition in the B13-4 division of WYSL. Midway through the team has a undefeated record of fours win and one tie. In addition the team has scored an overall of 18 goals and have only conceded five. Leading goal scorers for the team are Renrick "Shiloh" Alexander Jr (#16) and Alejandro Rojas (#6) with three goals each. Coach Alexander begins every game with a 3-5-2 formation. Arguebly a very difficult formation, especially for a youth squad, but Coach Alexander believes he has the players to construct this set up. Coach Alexander expresses the following:
"It's all about the kids ,they are a talented group who work hard.They enjoy playing as a team,and have fun playing the beautiful game of soccer.
Jerry Rivera (#4) has been dominant in the sweeper role much due to his aggressiveness and consistency. Much of the midfield has been controlled by Ivan Cabrera (#11) in his center-midfield role. His prevailing dribbling skills have led to many counter attacks and goals. Also, the partnership of forwards Renrick "Shiloh" Alexander Jr (#16) and Robert Ozuna (#9) are one of the finest in the division. In addition, substitute goalkeeper, Stewart Buitron (#10) has only managed to concede one goal in his three starts. WP Scorpions B95 hope to continue their run and remain at the top of the table.
